How many sessions will I need?

That's for you to decide, ongoing counselling is normally between 1-24 sessions.  

What if I feel I need more?

This can be reviewed and if deemed beneficial and viable then the amount of sessions can be extended to a maximum of two years.  

Is it confidential?

Yes.  What is explored or shared in the therapy belongs to you and your counsellor and is not shared.  The are some exceptions to this which will be explained in your Initial Assessment.  

How long does the session last?

The Initial Assessment last for up to 90 minutes and ongoing sessions last for up to 50 minutes. 

How much does it cost?

Initial Assessment is £70 and ongoing counselling sessions are £45

Can someone come in with me for the Initial Assessment?

Yes, if that's what you choose. However any forthcoming counselling sessions would be on an one to one basis only.

Where do I park?

There is private parking available within the practice.  Parents or carers are welcome to wait in their cars here. 

Is there Public Transport?

Yes, North Fambridge train station, which goes direct into London Liverpool Street (peak time, change at Wickford off peak)  is about a 7 minute walk away.  

Do you counsel Children and Young People?

Yes. I have a specialist qualification in Counselling and Psychotherapy for Children and Young People. 

How do I pay?

Payment is be either bank transfer or cash, whatever suits you best, on the day of the session.  

Do you do relationship or family counselling?

No, unfortunately not, however if you contact me I may be able to send you some links to help you find some one who does.
